Firstly, a big thank you to everyone that came along to our AGM and free BBQ last month. It takes a lot of people to keep our groups running, including leaders, helpers, and committee members working behind the scenes. Thank you for your support!

Here’s a quick summary of what we’ve been getting up to recently.

Explorers remain focussed on completing their Duke of Edinburgh awards, with support from leaders Julian, Adrian and Jane.

Scouts went to Aqua camp last month at Linch Hill, and got very wet trying out all kinds of water activities! A big thank you to everyone who made this camp possible.

Cubs practiced their photography skills during a riverside walk, have done some pond dipping, and learned about fishing.

Beavers have been out and about making damper bread in the woods, and had an exciting visit to Witney police station – don’t worry, no arrests were made this time!

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
