2020 catch-up: what have we been doing lately?

Date: 26th Feb 2020 Author: Matthew Ruddle

So, what have we been doing lately?

Explorers have been learning Martial Arts, doing some cooking, and have been planning their own sessions under the banner of Over To You. This gives them the opportunity to take control over which activities they do as a group.

Meanwhile, Scouts have been playing the Wide Game, gone on a hike around Blenheim Palace, prepared pheasants ready to cook, and made their own pasta from scratch. Impressive stuff!

Cubs celebrated Chinese New Year by lighting lanterns and eating Chinese foods with chopsticks. They went Stargazing, and earned disability badges by researching inspirational people who have achieved great successes despite having disabilities.

And finally, Beavers have played the Wide Game, learned First Aid, practiced tying their shoelaces, worked towards their communication badges, and made pancakes. Yum!

Check back soon to see what else we have been up to!
